It is hard to put into words the emotions of this last morning of the Cathay Pacific International Wilderness Experience 2005. Words that come to mind are sadness, yet deep satisfaction; loss, yet fulfillment; apprehension, yet eagerness. Like Steven, from Hong Kong, remarked: “Although the end, this is the beginning of a new life, for we will always know, that no matter where we travel in the world, it will be with the knowledge and security that there are 13 other countries that will always be on our side.”

Day 1
Ivan Putter From South Africa

Firstly, had no squares for the Ice Breaker Growing-Friendships

Secondly, it was very cold, and he had nothing warm on the first day, and commented that he was too dumb to feel the cold.

Day 2
Nick Pharazyn From New Zealand

Constantly losing everything, just to find it again…and lose it again.

Day 3
Khanh Nguyen From Vietnam

A fan dropped into the fire and he jumped after it into the fire to rescue the fan with his feet. Unsuccessful

First time a 100% Bush Blossom rate for a country. Khanh renamed Bahrain to Bush Blossom Island

Day 4
Ranya Ahmed From Bahrain

Attempted to cut her meat with a spoon.

Day 5

Shereen Abdula From Bahrain

Falling asleep during her Night Watch Time during the Sleep Out and letting the fire die – her whole group was ice-cold.

Day 6
TK Ling From Taiwan

Only person not to put his details in the Contact list – his excuse: “I was too lazy.”

2005 Bush Blossom
Khanh Nguyen From Vietnam

Just before the Cultural Event, everybody had to meet fully dressed for the occasion at 17:20. Everybody waiting in the parking lot and Khanh is running from one end to the other looking for things only in his boxers on a cold day! (He deserves to take it home, he had many Bush Blossom moments over the past 8 days.
