Oh, how sad no one is leaving a
Merry-Xmas-message. Anyway, here's
one: Christmas is the time to think
about our family, friends and folks.
I am happy and just simply happy to
have a family in South Africa. I
love you all, every single one in
the family, wishing you the best
wishes. I am wondering if I can fly
to South Africa to have a family-hug
with all of you guys this Xmas. I am
wishing Santa Claus to grant me that
ticket :) . Melting when missing
you. |

Shahfar Khan From Pakistan - Sunday,
November 12, 2006 at 01:12:19 (CAT)
Hey Guys,
Many of you probably have no idea
who I am. I'm last years Pakistan
Delegate. Urooj, Shahryar and I went
to the same school. The reason why i
decied to give you all a hoot was, (
at the risk of sounding gushy) that
the Cathay W. Experience was
possibly the most rewarding thing i
have ever undertaken in my life. I
met remarkable people, many of whom
I am still in contact with. For most
of you, this is probably your first
Inter-Cultural experience before the
Great Big Bag College Years. I guess
what I wanted to say was that, soak
it all up. Everyone has something to
learn from the other. From Miles to
Hanneka, down to the grain of sand
that makes you eyes water, teaches
you something you didnt know before.
I credit everyone i met last year
into making me the person I am
today. And now you guys can pull out
ure fists from your mouths. I'm done
being all florid and gushy. |

Today is 22nd Sept. The same day in
last month. We all HK delegates were
in the airport and waited for other
delegates' coming. It seems that it
happened yesterday. And my memory
still is fresh about the happiness
of joining this programme. I never
forget what I had learnt and what I
was impressed most. I miss all of
you guys, although we are all now
separated.
At the same time, I wanna when we
can see the Day 8's journal? There
should be one more to complete our
once-in-a-lifetime trip and fulfill
our Cycle of Life thoroughly.

I wanna share here.
In the dream, I got 2 air tickets
accidentally and I travelled on a

into a room. Inside that room, I saw
all delegates and chatted each
other. Lots of delegates were
approaching such as Nhu and Urooj.
We all were playing games and
chatting happily...
Although this is a dream only, I'm
really looking forards its coming. I
wanna meet all of you guys again!!!

I'm another delegate from the CPIWE
class of 05'- its awesome to see
everyone this year had a similarly
mind blowing experience to that
which we were priveliged enough to
enjoy last year. Remember to stay in

year from different nations have
already met up and others are
planning there own small scale
reunions- putting that little extra
effort in should ensure the friends
you made will be lifelong ones.

My dear officers and friends,
Everytime I read your messages, it
brings me back to the peaceful
village of Botshabelo, where we felt
as home and shared our wonderful
time with each other. I miss those
moments when we sat side by side,
looking up at the shining stars of
South Africa sky at night and
talking about our lives, our dreams.
Your wide knowledge and your love
for nature have broadened up my
little mind about the big world
outside and helped me realize its
meaning in my life. I have learned a
lot from you.
Thank you my excellent officers for
your always taking good care of us
during the trip. You woke up very
early in the morning to prepare for
our days, and stayed up until very
late at night to ensure that we were
all safe and warm in our beds. Thank
you for organizing such an
unforgettable event for us and
helping us grow. You mean so much to
me !!!
Thank you my great great friends for
the beautiful memories we had and
the special friendship we have built
in our hearts. Our tears on the last
days of the trip speak more than any
fancy words.

Hey guys...Big hug and kiss to
everyone. I'm deadly missing you
guys now. There is no way to
describe how magical and wonderful
the experience i had in South
Africa. It changed my life, and
taught me the important of
environmental issues and cultural
conservation. I'm definitely gonna
work harder for this mission. I want
to say big thank you to everyone,
being together at those special
seven days. You know, there're
really too short for me. Though
every trip will end eventually, i
hope we have more time to be
together(probably 3 more days).
Anyway, i have already carved all
faces in my heart since leaving from
airpot. This memories will always be
in my deepest soul. By the way, i
definitely gonna keep practicing
playing my drum, and keep in touch
by MSN. Hey, it's not an end. It's
just a start! I'm so lucky to have
you guys in my life, so don't you
ever lost contact.
