The
evening was an astounding success. Most countries performed by singing
and dancing traditional or modern dances and songs - much to everyone
else's delight! Malaysia, however, performed what can be best
described as a "stick dance". It was a powerful, energetic display of
a martial art type dance. The audience were invited to join in with
the dancing and everybody did. Taiwan treated us with their beautiful
puppet show. |

Bush
Blossom is going home to Taiwan for it’s final home. At the final
dinner, Joyce sat at the dinner table and proceeded to eat a
“delicious looking” yellow chocolate ball. The chocolate ball was
actually a butter ball. Needless to say, laughter filled the air. |

The
evening ended with South Africa singing Shosholoza. This stirring,
melodious song resonated through the room as delegates from all the
countries joined in the procession and in the song. What a fitting end
to the essence of this programme!

The
delegates then waited to sing Happy Birthday to Zainab Abbas of
Pakistan since it is her birthday tomorrow. All delegates, very hyped
up from the evening’s activities, congregated in groups in rooms (one
group been above Tracey’s room) to continue the festivities, knowing
it was their last night to be together. Bedtime was 3am. Needless to
say Tracey was not amused being woken up at 12! |

Once
again it was reiterated that the last seven days were a unique
opportunity and will be remembered for a lifetime. Special thanks to
Cathay Pacific for making it possible and also to Ubungani Wilderness
Experiences offices for the wonderful, life changing programme. |
